Fact: I have a serious denim addiction and I love how recently there has been a huge denim trend focusing on unique details. I swear, the small details are what set apart a boring outfit and a more sophisticated, styled look so I try to invest in closet staples that can be worn on repeat but have factors to set them apart from a typical “basic”.
I have been eyeing the $300+ pair of FRAME denim two toned jeans that are everywhere this season but couldn’t justify spending that much on a (probably) temporary trend, so I did my best to find an alternate pair and got lucky with this pair – Levi’s are also super on-trend and this pair was perfect.
This particular pair does run large – I am typically a 23 but can sometimes do a 24 and the smallest size available in this style was 24 and they were quite big. But, I think that this style of jean doesn’t have to be skin tight so I ended up keeping them because I thought they are so cool. As for what to wear with these, I tried to keep it simple and refined since they are pretty bold on their own. I can also imagine myself wearing these jeans with a vintage t-shirt and block-heeled sandals when the weather starts getting warmer!
What are your thoughts on fashion-forward denim silhouettes and patterns?
