Updated Wardrobe Staple: Embroidered Utility Jacket

If you open my closet, I have five different army green utility jackets. Although they are all the same type of jacket, they’re all slightly different and play their own role when putting together looks (at least this is what I tell everyone who says I have too many of the same jacket 😉 ). Basically – I am obsessed and can’t get enough.

But, considering you can wear the item almost year around, they are worth the investment and I totally see them as a staple piece.

Just like the embroidered denim jacket trend as of late, I’ve seen so many cute utility jackets with floral and feminine designs so, of course, I had to get my hands on one. This particular jacket is by Sanctuary and if you’re not familiar with the brand, they have great pieces that are on trend at a relatively very affordable price point and are sold at most major retailers.

For this look, I paired the jacket with one of my favorite Free People body suits and a pair of embroidered Levi cut offs that I found this season at Revolve. Super cute, comfortable and very on trend. Earlier in the week I wore this same jacket with black skinnies w/ a raw hem, black leather mules and my favorite plain white tee, and it really made me think how perfect the jacket is for transitioning into fall.
